We are a Registered Provider of Social Housing, regulated by the Regulator of Social Housing, and own a growing stock of homes in west Norfolk including homes for rent and shared ownership and temporary accommodation.
West Norfolk Housing is the trading name for West Norfolk Housing Company Limited, a housing company set up by the Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk. We are an independent not-for-profit limited company, but wholly owned by the Council.
Our homes are managed and maintained by Broadland Housing Association.
Complaints are handled by Broadland in accordance with their Complaints Policy.
As part of the Housing Ombudsman’s Complaint Handling Code, we are required to complete a self-assessment of our compliance with the code. The self-assessment shows how we are meeting the requirements of the code and any areas where we think we have some work to do.
Our self-assessment was shared with the board and approved at the June 2025 board meeting.
The Complaint Handling Code requires our Board to have good oversight of our performance of complaints handling. This includes an annual Complaints Performance and Service Improvement report. This was presented to the board and discussed at the June 2025 board meeting.
Our homes are managed in accordance with the Broadland Housing policies.
